Contrylab and Sybarite has crafted a bespoke robotic vending machine to be permanently installed in the Ferrari store in Milan, just steps away from the mesmerizing Duomo cathedral. The machine seamlessly blends into the store’s elegant ambiance, captivating the attention of passersby and inviting them to experience the allure of Ferrari’s miniature vehicles.

The primary objective in designing this vending machine was to create a “wow effect,” transforming it into an enticing destination for those seeking to purchase these coveted collectibles without having to enter the store. The machine’s sleek brushed stainless steel surface, adorned with a laser-cut backlit logo, exudes sophistication and elegance. Its curved dual-layer glass, equipped with an internal airflow system to prevent temperature fluctuations, adds a touch of mesmerizing visual appeal.

At the heart of this masterpiece lies a cylindrical stainless steel compartment showcasing Ferrari’s miniature vehicles. A robotic arm, choreographed with precision, selects and delivers the chosen item to the customer, adding an element of theatrical flair to the vending experience. To ensure seamless transactions, the machine is equipped with a state-of-the-art cashless payment system.

Operating 24/7, this bespoke robotic vending machine stands as a beacon of innovation, seamlessly blending into the Ferrari store’s luxurious surroundings while offering a unique and engaging shopping experience for customers. It’s a testament to Contrylab’s expertise in creating not just a vending machine but an interactive experience that captures the essence of the Ferrari brand.

Contrylab also took meticulous care in designing the user interface and user experience for the machine’s outdoor touchscreen. The interface is intuitive and easy to navigate, even for first-time users.
High-resolution images and clear instructions guide users seamlessly through the purchasing process. Updates to the interface and software are made remotely.
